Company History

Founded in 1991, LOADTEST specializes in bi-directional deep foundation load testing using the award winning Osterberg Cell® (O-cell®). Dr. Jorj Osterberg invented and developed the O-cell to meet the construction industry's need for an innovative effective method to test high capacity piles.

Recognizing this need, LOADTEST, Inc. was formed to capitalize on this unique method of deep foundation testing. LOADTEST has maintained a presence in Asia since 1997 and in 1999 LOADTEST Asia was established. Our Singapore office allows us to fulfill the deep foundation testing needs of our Asian clients.

Deep foundation testing services also include lateral testing, cross hole sonic logging and sonar-based pile/shaft callipering, making LOADTEST Asia a full-service foundation testing company. Visit our Products & Services page for more information.

Today, LOADTEST has conducted over 900 O-cell tests in 32 countries around the world. Through research and hard work, Loadtest is a recognized leader in deep foundation testing.
