Osterberg Cell load testing was performed on an 8-ft. diameter, 86.0 ft. deep drilled shaft constructed by ADSC-member drilled shaft contractors National Engineering & Contracting Company (Hebron, KY) and Mahan Construction(). The Osterberg Cell test method was specified by the Ohio Department of Transportation with Engineering services provided by Jamal Nusairat of E.L. Robinson Engineering of Ohio Company (Dublin, OH).

Loadtest, Inc. conducted the record setting load test utilizing three 34-inch diameter (5,000 ton capacity) O-cells on a single plane located approximately 28.5 ft. above the base of the shaft. Thanks goes to Ted Kloeker Superintendent for National Engineering & Contracting Company and his crew.
